WEP Trust provides education and guidance through the evening free tution School to save parentless and underprivileged children from being forced into sex-work, begging, and bonded labor. We council children and parents and guardians on the importance of education. We also organize self-help groups for rural women and we conduct medical camps and medical awareness education. When necessary, we provide relief and rehabilitation activities for victims of natural disasters.
The Evening School students average in age from about 3 to 14 years old. The students spend 3 hours a day in the evening school. Education is in Tamil and English. Most of the children are either orphans or have disabled parents or guardians who can not provide money for their education. The evening free tuition school is much more help to the poor students to do homework and to study well.
We are committed for the integrated sustainable development of India. Our strategy is to empower the vulnerable sections of the society by building their capacities through education, health and skill–based development.
